Jesus is the Anointed One, the Suffering Servant who gives us a new name and a new identity. In Him we find; in Him we are found!
In this 4th Suffering Servant Song, the Servant trades places with us, in all of our neuroses, harms, and issues – and takes it all upon himself. He is the atoning Servant.
Today we celebrate the unexpected blessings of God upon Woven for our 2nd birthday! As we continue the Servant Songs we encounter the unexpected Servant, & the unexpected Exodus.
The 3rd Servant Song is a picture of perfect submission, perfect trust – even in the midst of no light. Trust in God today; He will be the light shining in your darkness!
This 2nd Servant Song gives us a glimpse into the calling and scope of Jesus’ ministry. May Woven live into these passages, becoming an embodiment of the Servant’s ministry.
This first “Servant Song” of Isaiah depicts the quiet, unaggressive, unthreatening ministry of the Servant. He will not let you be crushed; nor your spirit be snuffed out.
